On 1919 Marriage image, for Robert Cecil, he has Father, Robert Cecil Puttee (Deceased) occ. Checker on a Liner.

(Being a dockyard area, perhaps he got on board ship, sometime)

Thank you Chris, well that solves one little mystery, Amy was visiting/staying with her sister when she gave birth to my grandfather. I wonder if my great grandfather was there too, or if he had already gone, being as Amy was previously living with her father in law. A mystery man. Shirley
