Just realised that James was a widower when he married in 1854 which I didn’t know.
I’ve found a James Robinson marrying a Hannah Hargreaves in Newchurch 1846 but as he was born in 1831c surely he would have been too young. Another can of worms for me to look into.

I wondered if I could ask one last favour please.
James was born in 1831c in Wardlesworth, Rochdale and married Jane Duckworth at St Nicholas Church, Newchurch, in 1854. Is it possible to look up their wedding details so I would know who their fathers were?
I have sent an email to the church concerned but not sure if they will be able to help due to the Covid crisis or even if that’s the best way to go about getting the information.
