It is the one that the newspaper used in 1915, William Adams junior identified the body and said he resided at 117 Frobisher Road Hornsey.

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 30 Jul 2022 11:53

Kay's post refers to 117 Frobisher Road, Hornsey

In 1911, 1921 and 1939, the last number in that road is 111

The informant was her mother and she lived at 3 Crosby Terrace, Long Lane, Finchley

greyghost

greyghost Report 29 Jul 2022 22:18

One address may be where she died and the other where she was normally resident or maybe one was the address of the informant of the death.

Sheila

Sheila Report 29 Jul 2022 16:48

That is where she was in 1922 when she died, I thought maybe in hospital in 1921 but also it mentions on death certificate 2 St Micheals Road, Wood Green?

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 29 Jul 2022 14:59

Strangely, there is no record in 1921 of 11 Bruce Grove, Tottenham

Just to let you know I managed to get the Dorothy P Dunham family in 1921 but to no avail Marjorie was not on it. Back to the drawing board Thanks

Sheila

Sheila Report 28 Jul 2022 17:34

I was trying to access the pay for view by my English debit card but it threw me out saying not got correct details and we had to ring them or the building society, I will try again. Thanks for trying, I found a Dorothy P Dunham 1916 with a number of relatives I knew and three others, now I know Marjorie left her something in her will, so I am wondering if this is the family she went to, she stopped in London

No sub or membership required for the 1921 census, Sheila.
(And certainly no telephone number.)

https://www.findmypast.co.uk/1921-census

A basic search is free.
When you think you've found the person you're looking for, hover the cursor over the transcript/image symbol to the right of the search result.
It will tell you how many people there were in the household, and give you the first names of up to two of them.

It's often possible to figure out who the other members of the household are, by trial and error (error in my case with Margery above!), free of charge.

However, if you want the address, or to see the whole household, then you pay-per-view for either the transcript or the image.

Telephone number ? You access and pay on line via the 1921 section on FMP.

Sheila

Sheila Report 28 Jul 2022 11:31

Sorry, thanks for everybody that has helped me, maybe it is I live abroad and got the wrong telephone Number

nameslessone

nameslessone Report 28 Jul 2022 11:26

Sheila
Everyone has to pay to see the 1921 census, even those with a sub to FMP. Although they get a little discount.

This is why you haven’t been given the full details just the ‘hover’ result which you can do yourself.

Sheila

Sheila Report 28 Jul 2022 11:18

I am not a subscriber of Find My Past now, I wanted to do 1921 census lookup but had difficulties because not a member of Find My Past. Or maybe I have got it wrong

greyghost

greyghost Report 28 Jul 2022 11:01

That would give away too much "Free" information AG - people might not have to pay FMP to see full results :-D

ArgyllGran

ArgyllGran Report 28 Jul 2022 01:11

Oh yes, I think you're right, alviegal.

By the hovering method:
Margery is with Robert, Lily, and 3 others.
Lily (I assumed she would be Adams) is with Robert Alfred, Anita and 3 others.
Robert Alfred is with Anita, Margaret Anita and 3 others.
Margaret Anita is with Anita, Robert Alfred & 3 others.
Anita is with Robert Alfred, Margaret Anita & 3 others.

I was knocked off track by assuming that Lily would be Lily Adams, and also .I was sure I'd seen Robert and Robert Alfred mentioned together in one of the hovered results - but must have been mistaken.

It would be helpful if surnames were included in the hovered results!

ADDED:
However, Margery with the Ross household remains a possibility for Marjorie May.

It says he's with Dunham - but I can't find who that is.
Perhaps it's one of 1921's mistranscriptions.
