This is the only Thomas Scott death in 2nd qr 1979 in Mansfield:

Is that him?


His birth (illegitimate):

His memorial isn't listed on Findagrave - but many aren't.

I don't see him in 1939.

In 1921 he's in Nottingham:

Get a copy of the death cert for FULL info about date and place of death.
Mansfield is the DISTRICT, not the exact place of death.


Then google for contact info for nearest cemetery

You can't search properly until you have factual info

Are you 100% certain that he was buried?

Thank you, his name was Thomas Scott and he died in the late 1970s in Mansfield (almost sure)

If you know when and where then the councils cemetry officer may be able to help.

At lot depends on the when though.
