An Olde Crone

An Olde Crone Report 3 Sep 2006 22:20

Madonna/Cher Time you donned your Mad Woman outfit, I think, for the benefit of the Pig. Something strumpety, I think, a la Cher, with possibly a purple pomadour wig.. Go out in this gear about 2 am with a flash light and make loud wailing and moaning noises, crashing through the garden and waving the flashlight at his windows. He may avoid you after a few nights of this behaviour. OC

Yes, Crone. That worked a treat for my ex-wife.

I've made a coouple of friends on the board but many more ( I hope) from meets away from it, going to Kew or a picnic! the vast majority of the time everyone is lovely and although I don't post much I read loads and laugh or cry or have my chin bang down on the desk. :D I think sometimes people have the off day ..... Happens or what not..... What I hate is the ability to change your name like no ones business or to have many names which can be used for underhand ways :( If you can't stand by what you say then there are other millons of forums out there...... Grrrr...... go find them........

Well said Paul :-} In my years of being a member of this site I have found it to be so very friendly especially Tips board where no-one seems to compete or have to go one better! I have met in person some lovely people from this site one of whom is now one of my closest friends. Sometimes the site can get a bit much and I will go off for a short time but I always return and most people have stayed the same whilst others change names and I have to work out who is who...lol I love this site and the Tips family... Thank You everyone!! Shaz xxx

O.C. could I hire you to do the mad woman bit. To be honest I dont think it would make any difference. He lives in a world of his own where he is right and the world is wrong. He is out there now kangoing and has his radio on so he can hear it above the sound of the kango. This used to be my little bit of Paradise - but now I dont even go in the garden with poor little Ralph unless I really have to or if Ive checked NFH isnt out there. Its amazing and frightening how your happy safe little world can change in a blink of an eye. To everyone who currently has good neighbours like I did all those years til this pig bought next door - check now that you have house insurance that includes legal cover - God knows how much the current toing and froing of solicitors letters would have cost otherwise. He knew that of course, said he could see I couldnt afford to take him to court (we have now had contact with neighbours from his last two houses and they all confirm that he was totally obnoxious there too - in fact they listed the people who moved because of him and those who had had stand up rows with him).

What lovely words Paul:-) I enjoy this board on genes the most because of the camaraderie on here. I started researching a few years ago when my children were very young and could not get out in the evenings. I am still here now because I love family history. The help I get here is superb and you lot must be putting a few 'professional genealogists out of business' lol! Don't post all that often but really enjoy the tips, help and the banter Wilf:-)

I think it is because we have become like a family sharing our successes and failures that we feel so upset when one of our own....Jess is so badly treated....She is such a lovely helpful person I am keeping everything crossed that justice will be done Fuzzy x

I too feel as if a member of my family has been arrested in the dead of night and carted off to jail, with requests for bail refused. If it wasn't in cyber territory, it would be headline news. Jay
