My Baugh family is a real nightmare! I had what I thought was the right family now I'm not so sure. William Baugh born 1860 married Annie Elizabeth Haywood. I have marriage certificate for this which shows father's name as Beriah Baugh. Though help on here I ordered what I think is the right birth certificate for William which gives his mothers name as Sarah Ann Baugh nee Willis. The problem I have is that I can't find a Beriah and Sarah with child William on any census. I have Ann as the mothers name on my tree but stupid me I haven't put down where I got this from. Any ideas on how I can figure this one out? Many thanks in advance. Jayne x

Hi June, This is the problem I have! I saw this entry but it's 10 years too early for Beriah unless they've put the age wrong - he wasn't born until 1832 I think and Sarah Ann was born around 1830. Thanks for your help though! Jayne x

June Snap. A bit like buses - now got two with the family Maureen

Maureen and June - you are both stars!!! Why can't I find them on the other census though? There's a William Baugh that fits living as a lodger at the age of 10 with a family called Shepherds and a Mr and Mrs Willis - could be his grandparents. Would this mean his mother died and his dad then remarried which is why I can't find them on the others? Jayne x
