Well done Keith! However, surely the last British king killed in combat was James IV at Flodden, 1513? You might also add to your list the minor scuffle at Bannockburn in 1314? Denis.

Denis I take your point on last British King to die on the Battlefield, it should have read last English King and have updated. James IV who died at Flodden was King of the Scots. Bannockburn would come under the Wars of Scottish Independence (1296 - 1333) Keith
