Thanks for your kind offer Sue, Could you have a look for any info on ROBERT MARK b1844 in Brampton Cumberland. Father John, mother elizabeth. I would love to know where he was on the 1851 census (I guess around the Brampton area) and who he was living with as I think his parents died before 1851. Any info you can find would be fantastic... thanks Karen

Thanks for your efforts Sue, could I be really cheeky and ask if you can see any signs of Roberts brother JOHN MARK b1838? Again he should be around the Brampton area somewhere..... I have John on the 41/61/71/81/91 and 01. Only the 1851 left to find !!! I know that they also had a brother called MARK MARK. Any signs of this brother would be appreciated.... lots to ask!!! Hopefully I can repay the favour one day, thanks Karen

Hello Lou Below is the only Willliam Jones I can find getting married to a Mary Elizabeth in the District of Chester between 1884 and 1886, however, unfortunately there are 2 Mary Elizabeth's on the same page Name: JONES, William marrying either BEESTON, Mary Elizabeth or SWAIN, Mary Elizabeth Record Type: Marriages Quarter: December Year: 1884 District: Chester County: Cheshire Flintshire Volume: 8a Page: 573 I would suggest that when you apply for the certificate you only enter William's name and only the first name for the wife, together with the full reference. Unfortunately I cannot confirm who William's father is from the BMD that is only possible from a marriage certificate Hope it helps Regards Sue
