'Paul - i think you need to go right back to the begining and find out who you need us to find.' No need, I've come up with my own conclusion!

Paul Report 15 Oct 2005 23:19

Aha! Finally! The madness ends! (Kinda) Well i've come to the conclusion that Ellen was the love child of one of the Ingrams, we cant find who she married anywhere so it must be her boss'!

Paul - i think you need to go right back to the begining and find out who you need us to find.

Do a Soundex search on Ketteringham. She'll show up. Ketter, Kitter... all the same in the end really lol

This is the same Elizabeth in 1881 as the one you found in 1891... Elizabeth Kitteringham abt 1860 Middleton, Norfolk, England Servant Tilney Cum Islington, Norfolk, England

Paul

Paul Report 15 Oct 2005 23:10

Well Ive decided that the Elizabeth I found in 1881 Cannot be my Elizabeth because my elizabeth doesnt have a record of any children in 1891 called Ann, and Lily. (Unless they both died at a young age) But how come there isn't any record of my Elizabeth in Norfolk in 1881 then? And the dates dont fit. Maybe she just appeared on day?

I don't understand what you're getting at...??

Paul

Paul Report 15 Oct 2005 23:07

But i'm still confused. It cant be my Elizabeth in 1881 because of the reasons i've given! But how come there is no record of her before 1891! =(

Paul

Paul Report 15 Oct 2005 23:05

BUT!!!!! In the one with John Ketteringham, she had children, Ann was only 11 months and Lily 3. So unless they both died, they should have both been living with Elizabeth in 1891. So I have come up with the drastic dicesion that Ellen Elizabeth actually belonged to Elizabeths boss, as she was a domestic servent!!!!

''the only Elizabeth Ketteringham in Norfolk who was born around the same time was born in Feltwell'' What are you talking about now?

Paul

Paul Report 15 Oct 2005 23:00

Now this bit I get confused with, the only Elizabeth Ketteringham in Norfolk who was born around the same time was born in Feltwell. (Which if you don't know Norfolk very well, Middleton, and Feltwell are both in West Norfolk, but are a fair way from each other.) and she was married to a John Ketteringham. =( I'm so confused. My head hurts

Walter certinatly didn't waste any time after Lucy died - he married Elizabeth 3 months later. Think Elizabeth killed her off? ******** UPDATE ******** Actually he wasted no time getting married to Elizabeth, I had the wrong record! He married Elizabeth the same time as Lucy died. Well thats one way about going about things without falling into sin!
