Hi. If the offer still stands, I've just found a great great uncle on the Ellis Island website. Details are as follows and I hope that he will be on the 1900 US census: Alexander Robertson, born 1868 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. Father's name Alexander Robertson born in Scotland 1835, mothers name Emma Wilkins born in England 1841. Arrived in USA on "Teutonic" July 31, 1895, aged 26 years. Stated destination Cincinnati and it seems that he was travelling alone. Thanks, Louise

Not sure if this is enough info - if it isn't don't trouble yourself. I'm after Thomas Akroyd (or Ackroyd) he was born in 1843 in Bingley, West Yorkshire. He went out for the gold rush to the Klondyke but don't know which town. I think he would have been there about 1885-1910. He had been in the merchant navy in his younger days. Thanks Jacquie

Hi Debra, Don't know if you are still offering look-ups, but if you are.... I would appreciate it if you could see if you could find a Hugh and/or Fanny Shafer in Rochester Michigan. Fanny was born in Ontario Canada in about 1878 and died in 1939, they married in Canada in 1924, and were in the US in 1928. Thanks in advance. Barbara
