Yes Julie i thought that when it said mother in law but because it said Billings i thought it was his mum but they probaly made a mistake. They are in West Ham and in 1881 John T Billings is married to an Ellen Billings and has a chils Ellen but not sure about Louisa

Do you know Ellens maiden name, might be worth to find her in the census just incase Louisa is Ellens mum and they made a mistake with her surname
