After doing some alterations I have come across a letter in the original envelope dated 1943. |

Well I am at a bit of a standstill now. The lady who lived here was married, she was Eileen Mary Fairlamb - I have checked marriages etc and her maiden name was Bishop. |

just to let you know i found this thread by typing in the name fairlamb as its my family name, as its a fairly uncommon name and i usually only get a few hits, and sometimes it gives me gems. |
