Idiot once went roaring up the back of me as I stopped to let a 16 ton lorry over a narrow bridge.He said I had stopped for no reason.

Julie,As a mere Man,may I humbly Suggest that the next vehicle you purchase is a "T34Russian Battle Tank" I believe they have a few surplus.Then you,d get no Silly Sod Bashing into you,and if they did,just think of the Revenge you could take,They also have no problems in parking,( usually wherever they feel like) **M**.:o)>xx.

I tend to shout and swear at awful male AND female drivers!

If they can't reverse park or parallel park, cut other road users up, not give way or slow down/speed up they all get the sharp end of my tongue BUT I do not commit road-rage. I shout and swear in the confines of my own car and then forget them !!!!

No Col, you got that all wrong.......... those levers on the wheel are for our handbags, we use hand signals to let other drives know where we are going!!!

McAnne, a freind of mine had an old Micra with a sunroof, strange this was, there was a warning on it!

Sorry i didn't get back to yous as on Friday i went back out........and don't laugh someone nearly rammed me on the roundabout, i was indicating to come off,but a lorry had come on, so i pulled back a bit and the man behind me was able to get into the lane..he then decided he wasn't gonna let me over......When i managed to over take him he decide to drive up my backside and what ever lane i went in so dd he...i have to come off for petrol so he followed me then shot back on the main road

The thing that gets me is both times my 2 children were in the car

It's true what they say about women drivers, ask my husband ;)

Taff's cpmment about a tow hitch being useful (page 1) reminds me of the time my friend stopped at a roundabout and two young lads didn't notice and ran (very gently) into the back of us. They looked very sheepish, but as friend was about to trade in his car, he wasn't bothered so just waved.
HOWEVER we had forgotten about the tow hitch and, as we drove off, we took the bumper off the car behind!!! Didn't bother stopping as it was their own fault!!! LOL

Looked at friends car when we got home - not a scratch on it :o)
