Just to update you.. my son got 2 A's & a B in his A levels & is going to his first choice Uni.

He screamed & I cried.. I am one very proud mother

That's brilliant! (makes me quite jealous - as Yorkie says, A levels are quite different to GCSEs and although I got As and Bs at GCSE level, I only got Cs and Ds at A Level - it is quite a different approach compared to GCSEs, and I always swore I would never want to relive my A Level year ever again!)

I bet you are proud - I remember when I went to uni, I spent the last weeks of August saving cardboard boxes from work to take home so I could pack things!

I am proud, thanks for all your kind comments..

I got 3 F's at A levels.. although I may have done better if i studied or gone to lessons pmsl

He is staying at home.. so no box packing yet lol

He will be doing psychology.. hoping to do criminal psycholgy when he leaves or maybe teaching

Our two are about to go back for their second year at Uni and both absolutely loving it!

Obviously the parents have to take some of the credit :-)

Well done to him, great when they get good results. grandson also got his today and phoned us he got
A: Health and Social Care
B: General studies
C: Biology
D: Chemistry
and has had his uni place at Plymouth confirmed. we are proud of him.
