But liked 'Silkwood' a lot. To Streep's credit, she was so good I almost couldn't tell it was her. ;) Also the miniseries Angels in America, she was fine in that.


Not a fan of Cher musically at all, but do very much like most of her movies. Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean!

I have to agree, Meri. I don't like Jim Carey either. I think it's that manic way he and Robin Williams have. I like a more sarcastic sense of humour.

I do Meri, that's why I was surprised I liked the Truman show but I suppose he wasn't so manic in that.

sorry Meriwether. As a child I didn't seem to mind him in Mork and Mindy but I suppose it's my sense of humour. There seems to be a pattern, not keen on Jim Carey, Robin Williams, Lee Evans (even though he is a bit of a sweetie, I don't find him funny)

Can't abide Nicole Kidman - she is so cold - but like a couple of her movies. How dare she kiss Hugh Jackman and look so unmoved. Let me try - I'm sure I could do a better job.

Johnny really is beautiful - they say the most beautiful man in Hollywood, but always thought that he and Russel Brand looked rather alike.

I could see him in that film lol Johnny Depp is beautiful though :-)

He'd be totally brilliant!

Apparently so - thinking about it, he'd be a good foil to Capt Jack
