wow I thought it was supposed to be all quiet contemplation on General.

I love gettin my oats. But recently I haven't had it as much as I'd like.
Must make more of an effort :o)

I had to make some for my dad on Monday cos he'd forgotten how to do it. Although he forgot my name that afternoon too, so there you go.

I know it is good for you Liz, but sadly, like beans, I can't abide the stuff, and I'm 1/2 Scottish......lol.....

.....mind you, after reading the thread, I might have a scoop out of MiL's Scotts Porridge and give it another go.......my Dad used to make it and it looked grey and dry and cracked, and when you put the milk on, it ran down the crevices.......perhaps if I put some jam on it, it might taste OK.....
