Baby girl orphaned/Parents die trying to save pets

A couple died after abandoning their baby daughter on a riverbank to jump into the water and save their dogs. |

I was very sad to read this yesterday, hopefully that little girl is too young to know what she witnessed, apparently Darren was a very strong swimmer but obviously misjudged things badly with the river being swollen. Someone called the emergency services so must have been people around, good thing no one was evil enough to steal the baby. I am sure she will have lots of love from her relatives but it's not the same as not having her parents to bring her up, she won't have strong memories of them either so I hope her brothers and sisters tell her lots as she grows up about her Mum and Dad. |
