I hope so Shimms................the campsites we went to were flooded out twice last year.

My son was in the Cubs, can remember them struggling to continue yet having to give up and phone us to collect the children ... they were literally washed out and the mud ...

Think I've heard it's meant to brighten up during the week ... typing here with my toes crossed, will have my fingers crossed too.

What have you done to the weather ?

The last day of our last holiday we woke to water lapping round the awning and recued two children from a nearby tent who were soaked to the skin.

We entertained them while their poor parents wrung out bedding and clothes before packing up and heading home............full of tea and bacon butties courtesy of my OH.

We had to be towed off the pitch by a 4x4 as the caravan had sunk into the mud and our car was sulking in an enormous puddle at the time.............but it was the most memorable holiday we have had so far! lol

Morning all
I had a 2 wk holliday in Wales years ago Kitty.
OHs parents had a caravan with our 2 littleones in it,and we got the tent next to it.Woke up floating most mornings.
Was a very wet holls

I'm pleased we went from a tent to a caravan.................the times we've come home and had to hang the tent up in the garage to dry it! *shudders*

We are off to the New Forest again this time..............we love it there and so does our dog:)
