absolutely!

the last couple of years - and especially last few months have been a nightmare, and she's been so supportive of me, whilst caring for my Gran, and looking after my adopted 12 year old sister, who has a multitude of issues! We don't live that close to each other, see her every few weeks, but emotionally she is always here for me.

My mum looked after me on her own since I was 10yrs old
she worked very hard no handouts in those days ..
she wasn't perfect ,but then who is ...
I Loved her to bits, despite her hard life she lived to be 87 yrs
she died a long time ago ,but I still miss her .....

Mother of mine you gave to me,
all of my life to do as I please,
I owe everything I have to you,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.

Mother of mine when I was young
you showed me the right way things had to be done,
without your arms where would I be,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.

CHORUS
Mother you gave me happiness,
much more than words can say,
I thank the lord let me breath with you,
every night and every day.

Mother of mine now I am grown
and I can walk straight all on my own,
I'd like to give you what you gave to me,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.
