There is nothing wrong with Fb as a site,its the snidey underhanded nasty behaviour of some stalker people that go round lifting photos and posting them on their blogs that are the problem and the more people that are aware of it the better..

I have been with GR for years under my maiden name and joined Friends Reunited in recent months under the same name.

I now find that in most categories, my name is shown as above, but in two categories, my correct married name is shown and I can't seem to find where I can get to change it. Does anyone know? My married name is not mentioned at all in "My Account" on GR.

Its a matter of trusting your friends to have trustworthy friends really and not adding anything you dont want shared :) and you can also set it for just you to veiw but I think thats a bit pointless really (just my opinion) I know some who do

Rose your details from FR will have been added on FB because mine
were. I know this for a fact as the only place I had added such info was on FR ... ....so nobody has 'lifted it' :)

You can change settings to allow who you want to veiw...just you , you and friends etc ...i have mine just for me and friends ....dont want the whole of FB sneaking a peak lol

My friends on FB consist of my daughters a few of their friends and a niece my Grandson and a couple or several friends off here.
I am very picky and a bit private at heart really.
Or have I just given too much info out?

Have found the info, it only has what I put there about birthday, films, a quotation, email address and groups.

I joined when my daughter went to South Africa for 3 months it was great to get photo's and stuff. We also used MSN a lot to chat with the webcam.
I haven't learnt how to do much on FB I go round in circles like a dog chasing it's ruddy tail!

I have just gone into my account onthere and changed the privacy settings That by the way I had no idea were there until it was just mentioned!

well Rose someone must know you have those details on FR,if you havnt put them on FB.then someon else has.?

Hubby goes mad because he wants me transfer all of the poker chips he sends me to him. I have deleted him fro my friends list as well. lol

Now on FB I won't do all those games and things that you have to give permission for your details to be given to them. that is the site responsible for adding the games. You know that box comes up and you have to tick to give your permission before you can play or enter.
I'm not signing for them to have my details and my friends details! NO WAY.

when I go on the page which has the tab at the top saying 'wall ' next to that is the tab which says 'info'...the info being the school and workplace...neither of which I added myself?
