Yes, I am the peacemaker. I won't lie for anyone and I can't abide liars, but there are times when I have to avoid telling ALL of something I know and times when I have to put it in MY words, rather than how it was actually said - or better still - don't say anything about it! I find that if I don't analyse what I am about to say first, there could be problems, so I "re-arrange" and keep the peace.

We all just get on....Perhaps helped by the fact that we are in different parts of the country, although we do all meet up sometimes.

My own 3 had childish squabbles, but no more than that. They are adults now and all live within a few miles of each other.They get on really well and help each other out, if necessary.

Only time my sis and I ever did was on her hen night......and I inadvertantly hit one of her friends lolololol.

Long story........

It will be a rare night in my house tonight .
Eldest ( who has her our place now ) took youngest to a gig tonight , they will be back shortly and eldest is staying the night as her kiddies are with their Dad tonight .Daughter number two ( who had her baby five weeks ago ) has boyfriend staying ( so he can do the night time feeds ) .
My son is keeping well out of the way ( holed up in his room on his games box thingy .....lol ).

It's not often I have all four of them under one roof these days . I wonder if they will be nice ...........lol

im the trouble maker in my family lol i always say the wrong thing and i always get told off .. but being the baby of the family i just boo and they forgive me .. till the next time .

They love each other really .......but the elder one has the temper : )

Gave up trying to be the peacemaker between my two lads when they were 14 & 15 (now in their mid 20's) when they became six inches taller than me. Tis hard when you have to look up to them!!

Many holes in plaster and bedroom doors later they are best mates again, just like when they were under 11 years of age.

Currently trying between my 15 year old daughter and her Dad. Tis very trying because most of the time I agree with my daughter..... but that is another story. lol

My girls DO bicker and have the occassional fight......but they're nowhere near as bad as my sister and I were.

I put it down to there being more of an age difference between them than there was between me and my sister.

there was 18 mths between us.........my two have nearly 3 yrs.

Eldest from day one was protective towards her baby sister........and even now she comes off worse in a battle because she knows she's not allowed to fight fire with fire as she's older.......poor love.

Youngest has my temper and lets rip in a big way.......eldest is more laid back.

I DO punish youngest for her behaviour though.........even if it did come from me xx

But............aren't families great...........lol

I must admit my lot have shocked me with their venom towards each other in the past ( and no doubt they will in the future ) .

My brothers used to up-set me from time to time but it was never as nasty as my bunch can be . Perhaps it's a sign of our times ?

I feel sorry for my mum when I remember the fights my sister and I used to have.

I have a vicious temper and my sister was a prize wind up merchant lol.

The combination was shocking lol xx

the younger two girls have actually come to blows on more than one occassion , the reason ? .......she's wearing my earings ! or jeans...or top..........lol

It makes me SO pleased that I never had sisters....lol
