8 and a half hours to get back from London because of the blasted Oasis concert, huge tailbacks to the bridge and then to Cardiff.

Had a lovely time in London, I met Jean Durant and Maz, what lovely ladies. Very welcoming and we had tea and cake in the garden none the less. I mentioned to Jean how good she looked and she swore at me...lol so I said it again :-)))

I think they were disappointed that I didn't take a flashy crutch but OH puts his foot down about being seen with me with one of those...shame really.

Stayed with aged BIL to see how he was coping, saw nephew and family and went to see OH's cousin to get lots of info on his family which was great!!!!!!

Went through the info on BIL's tree with him but had no access to Ancestry so was trying to explain the other details. Saw nephew who promptly reminded BIL that he had in fact logged onto my account and had gone through it with BIL but he had forgotten..

aaaarrrgggghhhhhh

after I had beaten him around the head we laughed but I really wondered why I bothered..lol

I intend to have a bit of a rest over the weekend, the washing can wait, that journey is just toooooooo much.

Love Sue xx

Didnt know you were away...I'm glad you had a good time though :))
I was away last week. too..camping in Lossiemouth then Gairloch. Weather was great and I loved Gairloch...lovey place and I had never been before.
Tent nearly blew away as we pitched it in high winds but we managed and it stayed put all night lol.
