big hailstones here, thunder for about 4 hours on and off, stair-rod rain and a river running down the road - at least my allotment won't need watering for a couple of days!

Better safe than sorry, we thought . . . . .

On calendar weather it gave blobs all over the country.

I had just put my suntan lotion on this morning and then it was gone, bleddy sun.Bit fickle who it shines on don't you think? LOL

The storms have now swept across the vast plains of Essex, no need to water the garden this week.

I must admit, I could hear it rumbling in the distance at about 3.00pm, and seeing the news, that must have been what they got in Watton, causing the flash floods.

It's very slow-moving though.

Hello Teresa.........it sounds as if you got hammered a bit then .

It's pouring with rain here and the storm seems to be getting closer . Hopefully it will wander off and do its business in the North Sea.

I must add my OH hasn't turned the TV off.......lol

Amanda and Trinity, you're getting what we had in Norwich. It's stopped raining now, just about and we've got some weak yellow sun brightening things up. I dont' know how long it will last though.
