The pain thing puts me off. Also once you start having things done,it's never ending.

Just as a matter of interest, what would be the first place to start with plastic surgery (given that it was purely for cosmetic purposes only)?

No good having a line-free face if your neck is like a concertina!

No good having great boobs if your tum is hanging over your thighs!

No good having the body of a nubile 18 year old, if your face looks like a 60 year old?

Where to start?

Due to go into hospital in Sept for a Nose Job... for the 2nd time.

This one slightly more complex than the last one though.

First time fell off a bus and broke my nose

Second time earlier this year the ruddy dog tripped me and broke it again, they tried manipulation to straighten but didn't work as planned so now I need a full rhinoplasty

Other than that I say grow old gracefully... If Elizabeth Taylor can do it so can we.

Oooh, well I'd join Jax, if I had the money....

Bit of lipo, tummy tuck, something with my boobs, dont now what but would depend on how they would look with the earlier surgery!!

Not so sure about the facial stuff but when I eventually lose weight I will be looking carefully at my chin!!

I've had laser eye surgery tho, no more contacts or glasses and its amazing!

Dear All

Hello,

No I would not.

Too many things could go wrong.

Heaven forbid, its bad enough if someone needs plastic surgery
because of burn and other injuries.

What is this obsession with youth?

We live in the 21st century, you can travel, do sport, take up new interests at any age.

Even if your health is not so good, you can still do a lot of things.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Whatever your age is, celebrate it!

And look after your health.
It is the most precious thing you have.

Best wishes to all

Like Uzzi, I grow old disgracefully.......any lines I have come from experience of life....... hark at me!.......talking tripe as usual......lol.....

No, I don't think I would, mainly because the features I have are acceptable, if I had sticky out ears or was unhappy with my chin or nose, then cosmetically yes, I would......

What slightly worries me at the moment is that I am losing weight, and it is the fat in my face that makes it appear line-free........I know when I lose that fat on my face and neck, I am going to look like a scrawny old chook.....

Wait until you reach 63 Linda!........at the moment it is not too bad, but I know that when I reach an acceptable weight my plump face will sag......

......fat does have its uses sometimes....... lol
