It says in the Sun today that Michael Schumacher was jokingly unmasked as the Stig.

"The real Stigs identity is a secret a BBC source said: It was a joke-a one off guest performance by Michael"

Yep I reckon a red herring too. Schumacher is a consultant for Ferrari, who else drove that Ferrari supercar around the track in 1 min 10secs?

Clarkson at the end of the show, pretty much gave it away that he wasn't the Stig......shame though.
