Sally Report 23 Jun 2009 20:17

I don't think that is sad Stray, after all they would not be able to sell all these magazines unless lots of people were interested.......so you cannot be alone......

Never read 'womens' magazines - I find I read most of it 30 years ago!! LOL

Well even though I read magazines, I also read books, there is room for both in the lives of the retired!!!

I find I get a lot of information from FH Magazines and a lot of 'inspiration' from scrapbook and card making magazines.. Good housekeeping has some really interesting articles as does Saga.

Isn't it strange when people are asked what magazines they read they say, none in the same tone as when they are asked about soaps and say they never watch soaps because they are a load of rubbish.

I am not afraid to admitting to reading any magazines that come my way (even Woman, Woman's own, Take a Break, Chat, Best , Bella etc if they are in front of me. and i do buy them when flying because they are relaxing to read. i am also not afraid to admit to watching some of the soaps. But I also read at least two books a month, sometimes more.

The only magazines I buy are Scrapbook ones. They get delivered at home although I do not mind if friends or relatives pass down magazines as I read those then pass them to my Doctors surgery.
