My grandparents adored Jim and when David had his thread he very kindly played a few of his records to bring back memories of my grandparents x

My dad was a great fan of his so I remember a lot of JR's records from my childhood.

They make me sad when I hear them but I think that's more to do with memories of my dad than the songs themselves.

But yes, I like his stuff.

I love listening to Jim Reeves music - it always relaxes me.
Forget when he died, but think it must have been when I was very young, but it wasnt till late teens, early 20's that I started liking his music.
I was watching a documentery about him years ago, and was very surprised to learn that he was bald and had chosen to wear a wig for his public performances to help his image.

I do like listening to Jim Reeves, went to buy his new cd the another day from Asda and they had sold out so there must still be a call for his music.

Will we remember some other deceased singers so many years later?
