Then ten days ago got a letter to change date back to first one and different time and DIFFERENT hospital!!!

so I rang the number on the letter .........they dont take calls for the dept I needed so I have to leave a message and they will get back to me ....thats was 8 days ago and appointment is tomorrow !!!! I think!!

Sally, this is Gloucester hospital, you get a letter from the surgery with a password and patient number, you also get a choice of hospitals (I had 2), you then go on the website and click to book an appointment. I think if you wanted to change the date/time you would have to use the booking phone number instead of going on line.

Daff, I suspect this clinic is one of those held once a month and is late because it is held with consultants who are in surgery at one of the hospitals during the day. had the same problem before. still shows there is no urgency.
glad you got yours brought forward.

What a great idea........getting appointments at our surgery is so difficult.......perhaps they will adopt this system........is it a general thing, or are they just trying it out in certain areas.....

that was easy, had an appointment to book and was able to book on line, seems to have gone smoothly so far!!!! I will reserve judgement but it beats hanging on the phone for ages.
