Ah Maz, but tell her that drinking tea in hot weather makes you sweat (sorry perspire!!) and that cools you down quicker.

Maz, when I used to go down the allotment with the OH, the best cup of tea was brewed there on a little primus stove. It was always better when accompanied by a bacon butty

Jenny I did - she said "oh yuck, gross" etc etc !!!

Julia that sounds fab - I've not got room for a shed on my half plot, but if I did then I would do the same!

Sally, that's what my mum used to say too and she deffo meant hot tea!

mind you, lemon tea is nice too - made with freshly picked lemon balm of course :-)))

Well if you're bonkers Maz then there are a lot of us. I drink tea any time, very refreshing in summer and warming in the winter.

lol Candyman......I had mine in a blue plastic beaker last week, all the dirty cups were in the dishwasher......

Anyone try tea with undiluted orange squash, it is really lovely.....just the normal amount of squash you would use if you were filling it up with water......and more if you want a stronger taste........sounds daft, but it is good......

I like a nice cup of tea in the morning....
Just to start the day, you see....
And round about eleven,
Well my idea of heaven, is a nice cup of tea..

I like tea when I'm thirsty at dinner,
And a nice cup of tea with my tea.
And about this time of night,
What more refreshing sight....
Is a nice cup of tea.....

Might have got some of the words wrong, but I think it was a TV ad.....

I dont drink tea much, prefer black coffee even in this weather
But read in the paper yesterday they are advising people NOT to drink tea or coffee.................................................only water in this hot weather
They can lead to de-hydration ,so they say
What other pleasures are they going to say are wrong ?
We will be able to have nothing soon
What a load of old.......................................................................................................
lol

Dear All

Hello,

I cannot manage without my cup of tea!
Malfunction takes place without tea!

For a refreshing drink though, I make peppermint tea.
Allow it to cool. Put into fridge and serve with ice.

Lovely!

Best wishes to all
