Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 2 Jul 2009 22:10

I bought a grapevine about 6/7 years ago and have it round the side of the house where it gets the sun all day long.

It has masses of black grapes on it every summer but they are about the size of a garden pea! Very sweet though.

The grandchildren eat more than they collect so I don't think I would have enough to make one home made bottle of the stuff.

Lol Whirley....my oh made wine with red grapes from a mates garden . He was very enthusiastic about treading them.......didn't let the wild life escape off the grapes . I named it snail and spider wine and did not participate in the drinking...........lol

Good luck with yours : ))
