BUT ........after a lifetime of biting my nails

Today for the first time.........I can wear burgundy nail varnish ............and it looks FAB

Why on earth did i do that all those years !!!!!!!!!

I have purchased Emery boards......but i'm afraid i'm not getting on very well with them.

That's why I bought the burgundy nail varnish.

Great feeling isn't it, bet you feel so proud and keep looking at them.

I am 56 (aaargh) and always bit my nails. Gave up in 1982 because I was getting married again and wanted them to look good for the photos. Lasted until 2000 when the business we had was going belly up.

Gave up again in 2003 when things eased up financially. Lasted until last summer when hubby lost his job due to the recession..... sadly still at it.

Invest in a pair of gloves for times of stress.

Most of all.... enjoy your achievement. It is just as big as giving up cigs.
