Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 7 Jul 2009 03:45

His sister only has one son ( there are four grandson to his father, including o.h.'s two sons) He is at uni but home at the mo, been living with his father at the family home, while his Mum, o.h's sister, moved out and divorced the father a couple of years back. He bought her out of the marital home and she got a flat, and then a new partner, and all seemed ok.
Apparently on Sunday the lad's dad said he didn't feel well, he was only in his late fifties I think, so went to bed. The boy went later to see if he wanted anything and was devastated to find his father dead. He rang his Mum who went straight round and called an ambulance and the Police had to come too, so it must have been a dreadful time for them. The lad is only 22 and it must have been an awful shock for him.
His Dad's family must be shocked too.
Rest in Peace, D.

Oh for Goodness sake Sylvia, It is obvious Liz was taking care not to mention any names and so protect the identity of those involved. This has obviously been a shock for all involved including Liz, so we should be offering love and compassion. If you have nothing better to say at such a difficult time, I suggest you say nothing at all.

Liz I am sending lots of love and support at this sad time. Take care Hun!xxx

Liz, I am so sorry to hear this, poor lad, what a terrible shock for him. No doubt he will also feel that he should have done something and that he could have saved him. I hope somebody has made it clear to him that there was nothing he could have done.
Thinking of the family, please accept my sympathy.
