Dear KIngKeith

Hello, hope things go better on Wednesday.

Do try to cut down the smoking.

Otherwise, GR friends will aim fire extinguishers and buckets of water
at your posts.

That will stop you!

Sending good thoughts to you and your family

Very best wishes
xx

pmsl Elizabeth......the extinguisher & buckets of water would be well worth paying for to see. :o)))

But seriously, I hope it's good news on Wednesday mate. The movement of the stent, won't be down to the smoking. But as said before (and this is from a smoker) give it up. Or at the least cut it down to a absolute minimum.

Steve.

Keith, My late hubby had four hernia ops and had given up the cigs only three weeks before the last op. He was amazed at how 'different' he felt after the op, with no phlegm in his throat. He claimed the lack of smoking as the reason.

Remembering that, after trying to give up for years, I stopped suddenly when faced with a thyroid op. Fear of the after-effects helped me to abstain for the month prior to the op. I knew I wouldn't be able to smoke for a couple weeks after it anyway. That was eight years ago. Haven't touched a ciggie since. I'm cured. Wouldn't be able to afford it now, anyway - the prices here have gone through the roof!

Hope you can give them up but also hope your news is what you want it to be too. Good Luck.
