Sat with the girls looking back at videos we took of them when they were babies earlier........

*sobs* I didn't realise how much I'd aged !!!!!!! (hadn't forgotten how gorgeous and edible THEY were though lol)

Lovely though it was to see them, my now deceased animal babies and my old house......I won't be rushing to do that again in a hurry lol

Advice ladies, and all your worries will fade away.

Never, never, have your photo taken, I look like Myra Hindley on mine!!

Throw away all your mirrors.

You won't know , or care how old you are then.

Muffyxx Report 14 Jul 2009 21:01

Yeah it is sad Marion........I was choked.....I admit to shedding a tear when I saw my two dogs(no longer with us) and my cat William(the one I lost a couple of weeks ago) looking so fit and well.......wanted to jump into the screen and go back for a while :0(

I'm lucky - I don't take a bad photo, it's the reality I find a shame lol

If any of you want a real horrid shock then try this one .

Get a large mirror . Lay it flat on a table . Then lean over it ( duster and Mr sheen in hand ) as you polished the Mr sheen away you get the full effect of gravity on the old face !!................( warning ) this is not for the faint hearted.............lol

I have had a real hoot at this thread.Sooooooooo True .Best not to look in the mirror,or old photos.
I have a frame in the kitchen with photos spanning years(is it a collage or something)? My dear friend Fitz(James) looked at it the other day and said who is that? I was mortified .........it was me only 20 years ago.Bl**dy He** was his reply.I know I have put on weight ,but didn't think my flipping face had changed that much lol.Obviously it has.I am traumatised now just thinking about it ,so will go and have a lie down LOLOLOL.

Muffy I have heard many of your 'tales' - there is NO WAY you are growing old gracefully - disgracefully more like lolol

You could also do a Joan Rivers or Cher, but be carefull you dont end up with your bellybutton on you forehead..
