This is a psycholigical thriller, with a surprise ending.
The story focuses on Ruth who is persuaded by her husband to give up her successful career and have a baby and deals with her relationship with his over bearing weathly parents.

Saturday's Child by Ruth Hamilton.
'Saturday's child works hard for a living. The story set in the early 50's is about 3 women all born on a Saturday. One of whom is Nellie whose past hides a dark secrect.

Sorry - probably me being thick as the three books form a series, which I thought would count as one because they follow on from each other.
The first is A Family at War and the second To the Turn of the Tide.

They have both my books at "The Works" shop and there are various Nora Roberts in our small viliage library.

But Liz, are you saying the first three are all in one book? That would make two books in all. But, if the series is 3 separate books then you have 4 altogether. sorry i am not being thick (well i don't think i am) I am trying to understand.

Actually, I am guessing here, are you actually joining in with greaders?

The first three form a series, set in Liverpool from l938 to l945. It concentrates on a family, and the effect the war has on them, especially as two of the three sons are killed.

The second is about Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones, and the mystery surrounding his death.
