I've already got a scanner. I've had it for a number of years and haven't used it in a long time. |

i use 300 dpi if the photo is being scanned for printing and restoring work :) |

just one thought, have you used the scanner with the PC you intend to scan the photos to? |

Try the scanner first with a picture from say a magazine .you can then see if its working Ok . |
