Winter Drawers Ever Near

Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 19 Jul 2009 22:52

Mine is a variation of Helen. There are 41 others.

It means: light of the sun or light bearer.

Actually I have been told especially by my elderly peeps that I brighten up their day so maybe it does fit me which is quite nice.

I am still struggling to see how your name can affect your personality or health.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 19 Jul 2009 20:55

Just looked mine up on that site
* Your name of Ann gives you the ability to be creative along practical lines of endeavour.

* Your ideas can be very original and inventive.

* You enjoy being with people in a social environment.

* Your personal appearance is important to you, for you desire to make a good impression on others.

* Your pleasant manner attracts people to you with their problems and you are capable of offering practical advice, though you may not follow such advice yourself.

* This name causes you to be somewhat too concerned with the personalities, problems, and activities of other people.

* While the name Ann creates the urge to be creative and original, we point out that it causes procrastination, lack of confidence, and the inability to realize your goals and ambitions.

* This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the fluid systems, and tension or accidents to the head.

Rambling

Rambling Report 19 Jul 2009 20:30

what is interesting to me is the difference between Rosemary and Rose (Rosie)...
I am usually known now as Rose or Rosie

"Your first name of Rosie has given you a quick-minded, sensitive nature.

It gives you a clever, creative ability in art, music, singing, or drama and an appreciation for refined surroundings.

Your sociable nature expresses affection, kindness, and thoughtfulness to the extent that it is difficult for you not to be affected by others and governed by your emotions, rather than by logic and reason.

As you respond to love and encouragement from others, your romantic and dreamy nature can easily lead you into love affairs.

Although the name Rosie creates the urge to understand others, we point out that it causes you to be emotional and temperamental.

This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the fluid systems, liver and the bloodstream."

oooh thanks Gwyn !

" Your First Name of: Rosemary

The name of Rosemary creates a happy, versatile, and expressive nature, with good business judgment and a fine sense of responsibility, which should enable you to establish congenial relationships in positions of trust where you are dealing with the public.

You have a clever, quick mind, with the ability to accomplish a great deal in a short period of time, although it is not easy for you to systematize your efforts.

This name could allow expression along musical and artistic lines and gives you the desire to entertain and to meet and mix with people of refinement and culture.

Although the name Rosemary creates the urge to be self-expressive and happy, we emphasize that without overall harmony with a balanced last name, it can cause intolerance and impatience.

This name, when combined with an unbalanced last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the liver and bloodstream, worry, and mental tension."

AnninGlos Report 19 Jul 2009 20:15

Not sure that Gracious applies to me!!!

Just looked it up, one site said Hebrew:- God has favoured me

another said Grace in Hebrew. It is the anglicization of "Hannah". It was a favourite and remained so until the mid-19th century. Today, it is still more common as a middle name.
