hi girls yes i recognise all of you.the reason i put this thread up was ...any nebies we would welcome and help .make um feel at home .have a laugh.and lots of sealed friendships .now its not possible to do it.you could be talking to a wum .whose only plan on being there is to be mean to folks .its a very sad day when it gets like that.its a family site.not ment for bitchiness .its for ancestry.so why pick a site like this to spread there venom.theres other forums out there that welcome there kind of wumming.so why here.xxx

Apart for a short time when I had not posted & came back they wouldn't let me use my proper name so had to change it..
but I', me now ..........

Well, I started as Daffodil Ann, changed to a Christmas name... Peace on Earth... but still signed love Daff xxx...... changed to Daff cos I started liking the name... and I'd been to a meet, and people knew me as Daff, not Ann... then changed to Burley Sashay... threw a temper tantrum on stage cos no-one, not one person, recognised me....

Then back to Daff, then to Peace on Earth, then back to Daff... but I can't get my squiggles back, it won't let me.

If I am having a hissy, I sign off either Regards, Daff (no xxxx's) or really really hissy.... Daff (no regards, or love or xxxxxx, this one is serious hissy fitty-ness)

Shortly after I joined GR, about 2 1/2 years ago, there was quite a few Julia's, Julies, Jules, etc and that was causing confusion at that time. So, I told everyone on here I was ' Julia in Derbyshire ' and stuck to it. But, yes, it confusing when people leave, for whatever reasons, and come back using a different board name without telling us, who they used to be.

I am always me Ann in Glos (signing Ann Glos because can't be bothered with the 'in' bit) Sometimes add sparkles at Christmas.
Not to be confused with Another Anne (note the 'e') in Glos who is not me!!

I dont change me name often (well I did have hearts once, but they disappeared))) I like to "know" who I am speaking to, if I'm going to speak at all.

Thing that gets me are those people will the same name who add appendages and I get very confused, cos I have the concentration span of a goldfish!
But that's my problem, not theirs!
