Do you unplug your TV at night?

I unplug everything except the fridge, the freezer, and the clock-radio. If I leave them on I hear a whirring noise, which is my dad turning in his grave! |

We got a gadget a few months back that turns plugs off by a remote control thing, it's only tiny and is really useful, plug still in socket but power turned off. You get one remote and a couple of things to plug into the wall socket which you then plug the appliance in to. Very handy when you can't reach the socket easily. |

I don't unplug my TV ( too difficult - plug's behind a unit) but I don't leave it on standby - I turn it off at the TV. |
