I'm really boring. Apart from genealogy, I read, and do crosswords.

Family History, scrapbooking, photograhpy,reading, suduko, farm town ,walking, retail therapy (does that count?) plus a p/t job.

Making cards...cooking...family tree (at a brick wall atm)...walking the dog...instructor in the Army Cadet Force...reading... HAVING SOME ME TIME.

Pah!!!! Mac, is THAT all?????? LOL

I have two hobbies Ann
I collect coulored glass vases, bottles, paperweights, anything in coloured glass.
I am also a cross stitch fanatic and design my own patterns.
Maybe I have a third hobby,
Cleaning the Glass

Tog that is something I would love to see. I used to do the coachpainting and upholstery restoring horsedrawn carriages, but don't have room at this house.

Main hobbies now I suppose are photography, redesigning the garden at the moment and re-decorating, have taken up knitting again after many years. I like walking and visiting National Trust places and open gardens, theatre and cinema. Always something to do.....can't understand anyone being bored.

Amongst the articles, there is the release of Tery Waite in 1991

and a lot of stories that made headlines over the years.

I am never bored, also never have enough hours in the day Lol1!

Card making, scrapbooking, photography, reading, gardening, walking, letter writing (snail mail and e mail), Family history in no particular order.

I'm not crafty at all so I just have my family history and my allotment (one for winter, one for summer lol) - I find that enough at the moment, although as the kids get older I expect I may have time to try my hand at other things. I would like to do more photography, maybe even a join a club or take a course.

Anne have a look at what's available in some of the craft shops. The thread on General mentions some stores that have scrapbooking stuff available. I forgot to mention that there are special scrapbooking albums also. They are specially made to preserve photos.

Anne there's a thread on General for scrapbookers. Basically I started it as a way of preserving old photos that I had gathered from various family members. I use acid free papers to preserve the photos and I write information about who is in the photos. You can buy lovely stickers and other embellishments to dress up the page although I don't use a lot because I think the photos are the important thing. Some of the papers I use are lovely with old fashioned designs that work well with old photos. When the grandkids came along - 5 in 4 years - I started albums for them and they love looking through them. You can buy really nice papers for babies and young children so I've really made their albums nice for them. If you google "scrapbooking" you'll get some sites with galleries showing people's work. You can make it as fancy or simple as you like.

How do u do scrapbooking Suemaid is that a silly question, I think I would like it I used to keep scrapbooks of cuttings in the sixties. x

Joan have you used a kit or made up your own. I'd love to do that but I've never seen anything I could do.
