Lol Maggie,
Just think.. In years to come, the tourists' descendants will be posting up said photos on a website or whatever, asking if anyone recognises the intelligent-looking lady walking in Winchester.
Nobody will know you, but someone will say that they've also got a photo featuring the same lady.

.....and add to that the 'vigilante' neighbours who (like my sister's neighbour) has cameras both front & back of his house 'in case someone damages his son's car!' I just hope his car is never parked in the back garden - they're terraced houses!
He's been told by the police to remove/screen the camera that overlooks ALL the back gardens in the street!!!!

LOL Gwyn - I live in fear of being picked up by the 'men in white coats' as I walk up the street duckin & diving!!!

I heard the cameras in T*sc* are so good they can read a letter over your shoulder !

If Cameras ARE so good............( tongue in cheek here!)
why are the images of suspects/missing people,etc ,in public places so grainy?

I saw a photograph of a man that had been fished out of the River Tyne
Below this photo in the Harbour Commissioner's window the caption read DO YOU KNOW THIS MAN ?

He'd been in the river an estimated month !
