It's a bit bleeding irritating isn't it. I didn't get any notification or anything. Of course GR may have just deleted it but I doubt it cos I don't reckon they make a habit of reading my inane threads. So I expect some tosser pointed out something to them.

Anyway I spoke to a very nice man from Ancestry, got a refund and have upgraded paying monthly as I can't afford the full price for Premium membership at the moment:))

I think I will be glued to their site as soon as I get the chores done:))

I only renewed my package last month and can't view the records................it might just help solve a mystery as to why my 21 year old GGGauntie was in prison aged 21 in 1861.

I will be phoning Ancestry later this morning to try and get a reasonably priced upgrade.
