MY GRANDSON GOES TO HOSPITAL HAEMATOLOGY TOMORROW.
HE IS STILL HAVING DIZZY TURNS, AND WE ARE HOPING TO LEARN WHAT THE ABNORMALITY IN HIS BLOOD IS.

I WILL BE TRYING TO KEEP MYSELF BUSY WHILE WAITING FOR A CALL FROM MY DAUGHTER LOL!!

Hi Vicky, hope your grandson is soon sorted out, and back to normal again.
Try not to worry too much, or you will make yourself ill too, I know it's easy to say but K and the lads will need you well to help them through the tests and such and beyond.

UPDATE. HIS WHITE BLOOD CELLS WERE LOW AT TIME OF 1ST TWO TESTS, BUT HAD GONE UP A BIT AT THE LAST TEST.
THERE IS NO ABNORMALITY ACCORDING TO HAEMATOLOGIST, BUT SHE DID ANOTHER TEST & IS GOING TO RING MY DAUGHTER WITH RESULT LATER TODAY.

HIS DIZZINESS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS, SO WE'RE STILL NON THE WISER.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR KIND THOUGHTS AND WISHES.
I AM GOING UP TO MY DAUGHTERS LATER, SO WILL UPDATE YOU WHEN I GET A CHANCE.

JUST SPOKE TO MY DAUGHTER. SHE WASN'T HAPPY WITH THE DR SHE SAW. SHE FELT FOBBED OFF, AND SO DID HIS DAD.

I'M GONNA RING GP IN MORNING AND ASK FOR HER TO SEE HIM ASAP.

APPARENTLY, THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF THINGS THAT CAN CAUSE WHITE BLOOD CELL COUNT TO DROP, BUT IT'S STILL NOT GIVING US ANY ANSWERS.

Morning Vicky.... just thought I'd let you know I was thinking of you, and your grandson..... I know it is a huge difference, but I have been told that my white blood cells may always be low, now, and researching my own stuff, I came across loads of blood conditions, many of which caused absolutely no problems in general.. depending on which white blood cells are low, your grandson may need slight lifestyle *tweaks* but they won't be too difficult to manage.

Try not to worry... I know, I know, but if it was very serious, the haemotologist will have picked up on it, I promise you. You know you can pm me anytime.... I know a bit about bloods, now, lol!

Vicky I have just seen this second update. Aw poor lad, it must have been the hospital surroundings, much different to doctors surgery. Hope you can get an appointment with doctor today, I'll be thinking of you all.
