Before you start making sarky comments directed to me Gill, you want to get your facts right first before you throw accusations my way.

Gwen posted a thread this morning (this is a forum where any paid member can reply if you have forgotton, its not exclusive to any one member).

The thread was stating how a friend of Gwens was upset by another member on here. I posted on it my thoughts on the matter . GWEN removed it herself, not GR, I never reported the thread at all
I also never asked Gwen to remove the thread.

Gwen then pmd me twice to tell me who the person upset was, and to say who upset them.

I also gave my opinion back to Gwen, but heard nothing more, although I must say she was being unfair to the accused person, as I since have seen a screenshot of the post in question, which is implying nothing of what Gwen accused the person of.

Another point to mention is that gwen does remove her threads an awful lot if people dont agree with her, and if they have a differing opinion to her.

So before you come on the fight Gwens battles gill, ask her what happened first, because, if i find that gwen is telling lies about having her threads removed and saying I have reported her to people, then I want to hear it on the board from gwen, not you. soI can take the matter direct to GR.

Well, it seems to me if someones just complained to GR about a post Lynda made on the thread 2 weeks ago, It proves they must be searching through old posts to find any excuse to report her even though shes not been posting of late.. If the post was that bad, it would have been reported at the time, not 2 weeks on :o(((

That smacks of an unhealthy obsession by someone whose ears must be burning at this moment in time.

I agree McAnne in Kent............Too many threads have vanished in that manner.

If one of Lyndas posts was against T & Cs (which would have been at least 2wks ago). Why did they delete the entire thread & not just the so called offending post?

The only way that usually happens, is if the 1st post by the originator is against T & Cs. And all Lynda had posted was to ask people to post uninteresting things..............How on earth can that be against T & Cs?

Yet again it seems to be about the poster & not the content.

Lynda did not delete the thread. she was told that a post she had added was against T&C's .............excuse me she's on holiday , so they deleted it .

I was wondering where it had gone as well.

Such a shame, it was one of my favourite threads.

As Joy said, it may be a glitch, it seems to happen with very long threads.

However, did Lynda get a message to say it was reported? if so, I persume that would mean that it had been reported rather than a glitch.

I don't suppose Lynda deleted on purpose because she was finding it too interesting? lol It is one of the most interesting threads on here lol

I think GR might have to look into that, otherwise the Trolls will take over. It has happened on other sites.

That is not necessarily the case - as has been proven by threads that have been deleted, GR could not possibly read them and find something untoward - why else would they delete a rememberance thread that someone posted for their late father ??

Or threads supporting members that have been seriously ill.......


I'm afraid the very fact it's been reported is enough for GR to 'believe' the reporter that it is against T&Cs

Even if someone reported it, it would have needed to have something said which was against the T & C's. I feel it was because of the originator. Perhaps GR have only just realised who it was. Of course, SOMEONE might have brought that to their attention!

Or we'll get someone post that it wasn't them that reported it !!! *rolls eyes and smirks*

Bet we get someone say it was probably a mistake by GR to why it was wooshed, l donot know how long it is till Lynda comes back from her h******* then we can add to her new one.

I'm sure you're right! It was a popular, and more to the point, good-humoured thread. Clearly, someone couldn't cope with that.

Maybe someone complained about it as it was more popular than they are :o)))))

Probably they used the excuse for removal that Lynda is on a ban, so her threads, or anything with her name on cant be visable on the board as a banned person cant be talked about etc etc.
