Bah Humbug!

My FAMILY didnt get a TV until I was 10 years old.

I didnt have one in my room until I was 23!

(Of course this was in the middle Paleolithic - TVs were much rarer then))

Lol! Mick. I'm old enough to remember not being allowed to READ in bed after a certain time. Mind you, those ogham sticks were very uncomfortable if you laid on them...

I used to sneak my radio into the bed,so I could listen to Radio Luxembourg

My daughter did have a record player in her room...... yep I am that old Lol!!!!

i had me first colour telly the christmas i was 6
but had a black and white one before tht lol

i used to sneak it on on a night and watch the snooker! "i dnt even like snooker" lololol

I didnt have a TV in the bedroom till I was married,and the kids were about 7 or 8.
Oh dear,think Ive been showing my age again

Neither children and there were six of them nor grandchildren, ages 2 years to 12 have had TVs in their bedrooms, neither do we have a TV in our bedroom........

No one seems to have sufferd, and we enjoyed having the family with us.

Now none of the children watch a great deal of TV unless it is Sports or documentary.....They all love their music and all read a great deal also enjoy cinema.

Eldest grandson does only recently have a computer in his room BUt with full parental control.


He is into making his own animated films!
