hello EB we managed as it was a baptism but it was a struggle for everyone ,to get there but worth it

morning all ,
well one day left of the holidays , but it is only a 6 week half term ,just hope it warms up soon our pavements are solid ice

still very icy here too.Dustbins haven't been emptied for a fortnight because the crews are working on gritting instead.
Don't forget to feed the birds xxx

hello,schools are closed here so have got Cara as well as Ava.I cancelled my toddler group too as its impossible trying to push buggies in the deep snow and most of the mums will have school children at home anyway.

See that we all have snow!!!!

Hubby's car is on the drive in a 3 ft drift, so mine( which is better in the snow and was in less deeper snow has gone for the day! He failed to get that out yesterday even.

He still had to dig the ice from around the wheels of mine ,only to meet a lady trying to do a 3 point turn 40yds down the road, she had a 4x4 but was totally stuck. so he had to dig her out to get past her.
She had no spade, towels ,paper or blankets which I always keep in my car this time of yr.
She only had to reverse 20yds down the road to get on a main track , but some peeps have no sense !

Many complaints( including mine ),have lead to them ploughing our St so at least we can get out onto the main roads which are but nevertheless icy so hopefully if we have no snow until Sunday, I can have my car back and do some 'tidy' shopping... Don't if I can make a meal of what hubby and dau bought today.. not to suit all the family anyway !

Had to dig son's car out (6inches) but it was so icy, he's just got home from work and has managed to park in the same spot he had left ( neighbours permission).
Hope we have a few fine days before we get the next snow fall, by which time hubby will want my car again !!

schools are off here again today too.We had more snow overnight.Worst winter we have had for a few years now

I have never seen snow like this since we left germany where they cope better

good morning,no more snow overnight but it is windy today.Main road is clear again.Pavements are slushy and dirty.

it is thawing here a little so perhaps schools will open tomorrow
