I had a brainstorm at the produce auction today and bought 6 cabbages and about 10 big Brocolli........ we can eat a certain amount of it........and the chickens will get the benefit of a lot of it too........but I'd really like to use it all up in the way of soups or something that I can freeze and use later...... |

your better off open freezing first Muffy (lay them on a tray aprt from each other then freeze, once frozen, remove and then pack into boxes, bags) that way, you can take the Brocoli out in individual portions (ie they wont be stuck together) and the cabbage will be free flowing, otherwise it'll all stick together:) |

Agree with Whirls about open freezing, I only blanch broccoli for 2 minutes else you get mush when you cook it...lol |
