It'll be me........ No need to give to charity, but please give a hand to the bag lady with her many bags.

I'm off to stay with my lovely daughter in London and then my friend in the Cotswolds.

I have with me:

a. a very large suitcase full of presents. Including presents to me - which I'd have happily left here, but daughter insists "oh no,mum, you have to open them on Christmas Day" - did said daughter consider for one minute how I was going to transport same? ........ I think not!

b. A Christmas pudding. Again, daughter - first year away from home. "You will make the Christmas Pudding, mum?"

c. A Christmas cake. Ditto

d. my clothes for a week. I'm indebted here to my friend in the Cotswolds who reminded me to bring "warm clothes". At least I've been able to release room in the (second) suitcase from the shorts and strappy tops that I'd otherwise intended to take ......... not

Have a great Christmas, all of you.

You're right, Dizzi

They're in a tesco's carrier bag - which I forgot to mention.

Which I'll be dragging by my left ankle. It wasn't used much, anyway.

Cheers Ray

You too!

From the heady heights of being top of something with a 10 point cushion.....

I'm on the train........ and if the pudding, the cake and - come to that - myself - get through this journey intact, it'll be a miracle

(however, I do know that one of my pressies is a bottle of wine. what price it remains intact after Doncaster? I'm offering 10-1 against. Any takers?)
