As you look at the bed it's the right hand side.

OH always wants to sleep on the left hand side.

My only proviso is that I am furthest away from the door so if we were burgled or whatever he would be there to protect me!

LOL

On the left, only because I was told when I fist got married, that a woman needs to sleep on the side nearest to the door,so when SHE is awoken at night ,she can attend to the children.. How stupied am I.

now to confuse matters when i am up here during day lie now i am on the right of the bed and sleep on the right, hubby wont sleep on the left so if i am asleep and he want to go to bed he will wae me to push me over and then wonders why i snap you would of thought after 22 years of marriage he would now not to wake me just to move me over

I was just trying to cheer the boards up a bit !!

Seems most peeps sleep on the left as one looks at the bed, funny how that starts off in the first place !

Anywhere I like in m queen size bed that's is just for me, except when there is a thunder storm in the middle of the night and I have to make room for a very large soppy doggy

left and furthest from the door used to be door side until we had to move bed roiund. At least now when one of children wants something i can tell hubby to go as he is nearest, doesnt usually work though.

and I sleep on my front cuddling a pillow

Jane / Marilyn, I must admit to preferring to sleep in spare bed due to OH snoring! I did buy an "anti snore" pillow recently but he insists on keeping his old pillow on top so reduces the effect. It's nice to be able to spread out across the bed sometimes - although it's also nice to turn over in the middle of the night and feel someone there (so long as they're not snoring.....)

Jane Report 8 Feb 2010 22:09

Looking at the bed from the bottom,I am on the left.Normally hanging out the side to keep cool lol.I l think it has always been like that as it is nearest the door and I was on alert if the children woke up at night.

Well I have to be honest and say I do get a better sleep on my own, as hubby can snore even though he wont admit it .!!

Suppose I do really .....but not as much LOL

Stray, typical of me, I only read half a thread and forget to go back....did you ever rearrange your bedroom? What did you do with the bed? (Sorry Marilyn- only going off on tangent a little bit today ;) )

Lol Sue, mine too. I have a tidy now and then but have exactly the same items.....cept for the tablets.

My own room too Marylin :-)...could never sleep in the same room as anyone else, we would disturb one another.
