On the left, only because I was told when I fist got married, that a woman needs to sleep on the side nearest to the door,so when SHE is awoken at night ,she can attend to the children.. How stupied am I. |

left and furthest from the door used to be door side until we had to move bed roiund. At least now when one of children wants something i can tell hubby to go as he is nearest, doesnt usually work though. |

Jane / Marilyn, I must admit to preferring to sleep in spare bed due to OH snoring! I did buy an "anti snore" pillow recently but he insists on keeping his old pillow on top so reduces the effect. It's nice to be able to spread out across the bed sometimes - although it's also nice to turn over in the middle of the night and feel someone there (so long as they're not snoring.....) |

Looking at the bed from the bottom,I am on the left.Normally hanging out the side to keep cool lol.I l think it has always been like that as it is nearest the door and I was on alert if the children woke up at night. |

Well I have to be honest and say I do get a better sleep on my own, as hubby can snore even though he wont admit it .!! |

Stray, typical of me, I only read half a thread and forget to go back....did you ever rearrange your bedroom? What did you do with the bed? (Sorry Marilyn- only going off on tangent a little bit today ;) ) |
