Sorry, yes, I'm a bit of a saddo when it comes to my garden! I love the birds though and have got lots of boxes all over the place - unless those b*****y tree rats come along and pinch the eggs or babies - then I go on the rampage ...!

I wonder if planting onions in with the potatoes would deter him? or something like valerian or flowering currant which smell strongly of cats?

Right - he's off into the garden NOW!!! No, no, think about this Wend, it's too cold - get a bucket, tell him to pee in it when the need takes him, collect it for a few hours (those night times ones must be more potent) and then sprinkle where needed the next day. Have I got a life - ha ha!

WE have badgers didgging up our garden and they make big holes. Pests!!!! Male wee doesnt work on them. the foxes still come in as well.
